Donate Your Used Car to Recycled Racers and Deduct it From Your Taxes!

We have an idea that may save you hundreds of dollars at tax time!  Help support Greyhound adoption by donating your unwanted car or truck to Recycled Racers, Inc! When you donate your used vehicle, it will be resold at an auto auction, and the proceeds will go directly to Recycled Racers!  It's a win-win proposition!  You get rid of that old car, and can deduct it's "fair market value" from your taxes and we receive the auction proceeds that help us continue our work to find adoptive homes for ex-racing Greyhounds in need. Your car or truck donation qualifies as a "charitable deduction" on your federal income tax return because Recycled Racers, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  Therefore, the IRS allows you to take a charitable tax deduction on your federal income tax form for the "fair market value" of your donated vehicle.  Please note that the condition of your car or truck affects its fair market value.
