In Loving Memory of

Oshkosh Beast (Samson)     11/23/91 - 1/27/99

On January 27, 1999, Samson crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.  He was much loved by myself, my husband, and especially our five year old son, Eli.  We are heartbroken.  It is suspected Samson had a brain tumor.  For over four years, he was a kind, loving, gentle giant and was so much a part of our lives and hearts.  The day we sent him to Heaven was the saddest day of my life.

Samson will be very much missed and will always remain in our hearts and our thoughts.  I thank God every day for bringing "Sammy" into our lives.  Had I known five years ago, the day Sammy came into our lives, what was to come, I would have done it still.  I wouldn't have changed a thing.

We were with him when he left us, with our arms holding him and loving him.  For the first time, after six years of marriage, I saw my husband cry.  My only comfort was knowing that when my time comes, to join God in Heaven, Sammy will be there, waiting to show me the way.  To me, being with Samson again, THAT'S Heaven.  Thank you for being my forever dog...

Go with God, Samson.  I'll see you again.  Until then, God speed, and I love you.
