In Loving Memory of Buzz Away (Buzz)     8/04/94 – 8/02/07

My beloved Buzzy passed away and joined EC Shirley and my Daddy on August 2, 2007.  Buzzy had been with me for 9 years and was 13 years old when he left this world.  His was a long wonderful life – long for a large breed Greyhound. Buzz came to me after retiring from a very successful racing career when he was 4 years old.  He brought me great joy always and was the best and most handsome Greyhound ever. Shortly before he left this world, he was no longer wagging his tail, was panting a lot, could not get enough water and was not eating.  He was unable to get up and down any more with out struggling.  The last few days of his life, he could not get up without help and had to be carried in and out.  I saw it in his eyes that he really needed help to the other side.  It was time. Buzz is now resting and is in a better place. Janet Meis
