In Loving Memory of Nodak Wendi (Wendi)     12/28/99 – 3/14/06

Her name was Wendi, but we called her The Queen or Queenie.  She was a beautiful bossy girl.  Sandy Johnson, selected her especially for us.  Wendi, was always noticed at Recycled Racers Meet-n-Greets and never minded the attention or the petting. Wendi, came to live with us after our other Greyhound, Cody died.  She patiently charmed her way into our hearts.  Wendi adored Thorne, our other Greyhound and quickly became his companion.  She enjoyed running and playing with Rascal, the greyhound we adopted after Thorne passed away. Wendi was with us for only 2 1/2 years.  She was euthanized shortly after being diagnosed with lymphoma.  It was very hard to see her become so ill so quickly. She is greatly missed by her "family" and her special friends Randi and Bekije. Margy and Joe Johnson, Rascal and Darryl, the Greyhounds
