Chad (ID Joshua Garrett) was a beautiful boy, very regal and very smart. He was my first Greyhound. I was so proud to have him as my best friend. Then
we adopted Desi (Iza Desiree) as a companion for Chad. She was a dear giddy girl who loved to run from me. Chad and Desi really loved each other. Desi
lived to be eleven and Chad lived to be fifteen years old. Desi became ill and was operated on but never recovered. When Desi passed away I
immediately went and adopted Bo (El Bombay) who still lives with me today. Chad and Bo were good friends until Chad passed away. Bo needed a new friend
so I adopted Jodi (Crack A Lackin) who only lived a short time (two and a half years) because she had a heart murmer. I was so sad when Jodi died unexpectedly.
It was such a shock. I then called Marnie Grosz and Toni Davis to help me find another girl for Bo, and they did right away. I adopted Serena, a very
shy little girl who Bo and I really love.
There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of Chad, Desi and Jodi. I am grateful for the time we had together. I will never forget them. Thanks to Sandy Johnson (who retired from Recycled Racers in October of 2005) for letting me adopt Chad, Desi and Bo. And thank you to Marnie and Toni for letting me adopt Jodi and Serena.
