In Loving Memory of Shocking Melody (Melly)    Dec. 1989 - April 3, 2003

Melly was everything a loyal friend should be.  She loved her family more than anything else (ice cream came in a close second though).  She had the most beautiful eyes of any dog I have ever seen, and they seemed to look right through you. Melly would "talk" to us when she needed something in her funny way. She loved to climb into dad's lap for a special hug and she would wait for him about the same time every evening.  If he was late, she would still be there waiting until he got there.  Melly was the biggest couch potato I have ever seen, but get her outside and she would go crazy, visiting all her buddies across the fences. Her gentleness helped a young cousin get over his terrible fear of dogs, to the point where he would want to sleep with her on the floor at Grandma's house! We will miss her forever.  We love you Melly. Tony, Carol, Annie, Joe and Shadow
