In Loving Memory of our Sweet Boy Irish Rascal (Dexter)     8/1/94 - 6/24/03

Our beloved Dexter came to us a very short 6 years ago.  He raced under the name Irish Rascal, but his new name Dexter matched him so well.  We originally wanted to adopt a small female Greyhound, but it was love at first sight when we saw our big boy Dexter. He loved his blankie, his doggy brother Otto, his doggy sister Abbie, his cat Sassy, and he was oh so faithful to his family.  Dexter had the most beautiful eyes that would speak to us all as if to tell us how happy he was to be with us.  He brought love and laughter to our home and we miss him terribly and always will. Our sweet Dex was diagnosed with bone cancer and we spoiled him until he let us know that it was his time to go to the Rainbow Bridge.  When he passed on he was surrounded by the people who loved him and who he loved. We will forever miss the way he used to run through the family room every evening, playing with his best friend Otto, and how he used to "dock" up against our legs to let us know it was time for a good scratch session.  We want to thank Dexter for his unconditional love.  We will always love you Dex, and thanks to you, we will someday adopt and bring another sweet Greyhound into our lives to love as we loved you! You are forever in our hearts, Mom(Pam), Dad(Kevin), Josh, Becka, Sassy, Abbie, and Otto
